Excellent Impact Resistance
AcryliQ ® sheets possess exceptional impact resistance. Manufactured from high quality virgin resin, Acrylic has 20 times the impact strength of glass of similar thicknesses.
Superior Clarity & Light Transmission
AcryliQ ® Clear Solid sheets are as transparent as glass and have a light transmission of 92 %. These sheets are also available in translucent configuration for better light diffusion.
Weather protected
AcryliQ ® sheets are naturally Ultraviolet resistant and do not change color or behavior under prolonged external use. This makes it the material of first choice for any external application.
Design Flexibility
AcryliQ ® sheets can be hot bent, thermoformed, laser cut, laser engraved. This gives it a wide range of application in signage and decorative works for both internal and external applications.
Broad Range Temperature Resistance
AcryliQ ® sheets remain stable under extreme climatic conditions, remaining virtually unchanged between temperatures of -40 °C and +105 °C. This signifies that the sheets can perform below freezing point and above boiling point of water. Adequate allowance needs to be made for thermal movement in the fixing arrangement.
Better Heat/ Thermal Insulation
AcryliQ ® sheets exhibit better insulation values against heat or cold when compared to glass or GRP sheets. This makes it a product of choice for domes and skylight. As it can be tinted in any color, the aesthetic possibilities and applications are manifold.
Handling with Ease
Due to their relatively lightweight and high impact strength, Acrylic sheets are convenient to store, handle and install. Conventional tools can be used to cut, trim or drill holes in the sheets, apart from more modern laser cutting methods.
Chemical Resistance
AcryliQ ® sheets are resistant to a wide range of chemicals. They are generally unaffected by acids, alcohols, glycols, mineral oils, animal and vegetable fats, kerosene and non-abrasive cleaners. However, they are affected by benzene, petrol, ketones, acetones, phenols, chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum-based paints, abrasive cleaners and solvents.
